Towards an Intelligent Interior Design System*

چکیده
This paper gives an overview of a speech and language interface to an agent system operating in the domain of interior design. The user can instruct the system to place objects in a room, and query it about spatial relations among these objects. The core issue of this research is to provide a framework for the development of intelligent design systems, based on the integration of a natural language interface, an ontology, domain rules and constraints, and a suitable representation of actions, combined under the paradigm of an intelligent agent system.
